Administrates the consulates general in Guangzhou and conducts offcial or semi-official exchange activities between the two sides;

Responsible for the reception of visiting guests arranged by consulates general;

Deals with the consular authentication;

Coordinates in dealing with legal cases involving foreigners in Guangdong such as criminal, civil, maritime affairs and house property;

Deals with the confirmation documents and visa authorization for foreign experts and students;

Coordinates vital issues concerning foreign experts and students;

In charge of the administration as well as exam and approval of the business activities of consulate officials to Hong Kong and Macau SARs in Guangdong.
